The EP Timewinder leads the listener on a cathartic journey of personal awareness and self discovery. A bespoke method is applied to each track to craft the sound and atmosphere to the lyrics. In this case the lyrics are a constant, philosophical narrative on life.
Your Name is about personal resilience, devotion, and the impetus that drives one to higher realisation. Sleepwalkin’ reflects a hopeless romantic within an abstract construct, with Rex Maximus providing slide guitar for an evocative atmosphere. Incendiary Tears is a heart-felt cry for understanding, when things go wrong in our challenging world. Timewinder calls for hope and aligns personal faith - what that may be? - on a psy-sonic journey. The EP was recorded and mixed by Vaughn Pinxit, at Dirt Road Studios, a rural Queensland home-studio on Gubbi Gubbi Country, Australia. Collaborators worked remotely, sending files online.
